For Makers

Sell your strange craft to the people who get it.

Sultero is a marketplace built for independent makers of the dark and unusual, gothic, horror, Halloween, occult, oddities, cryptid, alt-fashion, creepy-cute, dark holiday, and everything weird and handmade. You keep your brand and your customers; we bring the storefront, the audience, and the checkout. We're onboarding makers now, ahead of the Halloween and dark holiday season.

How it works

You open a shop, list your handmade goods, and set your own prices and shipping. Buyers check out through Sultero, and you fulfill and ship each order yourself. You control your listings, photos, and store page; we handle the marketplace, discovery, and the checkout experience so you can focus on making.

Bring your shop with you. Already selling on Etsy? Export your listings from Etsy as a CSV and import them into your Sultero shop in minutes. No retyping your catalog.

How buyers find you

A marketplace is only as good as its traffic, so here is where ours comes from. Sultero is not starting from zero. It is backed by a network of dark and seasonal brands, sites, and social audiences we already run, including Creepy Christmas and Creepy Halloween, that point buyers here all year. Our catalog is mainstream retail, which means we can run the paid advertising channels most alternative sellers never get access to, and we do. And every Founding Maker gets featured across that network, so joining early means being promoted early.

$0No listing fees, no subscriptions, no tiers, no monthly minimums.
You shipYou set shipping and fulfill orders directly, in your own packaging.

That's the whole fee structure: 6.5% of what your product sells for, plus the processing fee the payment network charges on that order. Nothing else.

Payout terms, including timing and any hold periods, are finalized with our payment processor and published in the vendor agreement you review at onboarding. We don't publish those details until they're final.

Same headline rate as the big marketplace, with three differences that add up: we never take a cut of your shipping, we never charge listing fees, and we will never take a mandatory advertising commission out of your sale.

Real makers only

Sultero is for people who actually make things: handmade and small-batch goods from US-based makers. No dropshipping, no AliExpress resellers, no mass-produced imports pretending to be handmade, no print-on-demand spam, and no AI-generated junk. Holding that line is the whole point: it's what makes this a place worth selling on.

Oddities are welcome, including taxidermy, bone, and natural curiosities, as long as they're legal to sell and ship. Read the Prohibited Items policy before you plan your catalog.

Maker FAQ

When does Sultero open?

We're onboarding makers now and opening for the 2026 season, in time for the Halloween and dark holiday rush. Join the maker list and you'll get onboarding access before the doors open.

Can I keep selling on Etsy, at fairs, or on my own site?

Yes, always. Sultero is never exclusive. Sell everywhere you want. We'd rather be the place your strange work does best than the only place it lives.

What does it cost?

6.5% of the product subtotal plus the payment processing fee on the order. No listing fees, no subscriptions, no tiers, no mandatory ad fees. That's the whole structure.

How and when do I get paid?

Payout timing and any hold periods are finalized with our payment processor and published in the vendor agreement you review at onboarding. We don't publish those details until they're final, because we won't quote you terms that could change.

What can I sell here?

Handmade and small-batch goods from US-based makers, across everything strange, dark, and wonderful. See What We Sell for the departments and the Prohibited Items policy for the legal lines. Oddities, taxidermy, and bone are welcome as long as they're legal to sell and ship.

Do I have to be "goth"?

No. Gothic is one shelf, not the whole store. Halloween makers, Krampus and dark holiday artists, paranormal and cryptid creators, horror artists, and the makers of spooky-cute little characters all belong here. If it has a little shadow in it, it fits.

How will buyers find my shop?

Through the marketplace itself, through our network of dark and seasonal sites and audiences that point buyers to Sultero, and through paid advertising we run for the marketplace. Founding Makers also get featured directly.

Can I import my Etsy listings?

Yes. Export your listings from Etsy as a CSV and import them during onboarding. No retyping.

Am I committing to anything by joining the maker list?

No. The list gets you onboarding access and updates. You decide whether to open a shop when you see the vendor agreement.
